Both Vitamix 5300 and 7500 have variable speed control with ten speed settings. You can control the variable speed and length depending on your ingredients and the texture you want.
The dials are easy to toggle and adjust at any time. A pulse mode is also present in both models, but both of them don’t have pre-set programs.

2. Small difference in body dimension
Although both Vitamix 5300 and 7500 are low profile container, they have different sizes. The Vitamix 5300 measures 17.25×8.75×7.25 inches and weighs 12 pounds.

Pros and Cons for Each Model
Having read the similarities and differences of the Vitamix 5300 and 7500, you probably made a decision by now. But if it still leaves you undecided, that is okay. Both blenders share a lot of specifications and a few differences. The important thing is both of them meet heavy-duty blending tasks.

Although both blenders have anti-overheating features, the Vitamix 7500 has larger vents for more cooling capacity. The question is, are you willing to spend a little more cash?
If I am to choose between the two, it would be the Vitamix 5300 because it is as powerful as the Vitamix 7500. It has the same functionalities that can work on all of your blending needs. For household blending tasks, there is no need to spend extra cash.
But if you blend continuously for hours, the Vitamix 7500 is the better choice since it has more anti-overheating capacity and low-noise operation.
